Every service already includes everything your pet needs to feel pampered and loved — but some pets need a little extra care, and we plan for that too.
Older dogs take extra attention and care. For our senior "Special Snowflakes" we offer shorter, gentler Express Service appointments, move at a slower pace, and always give extra kisses to make them feel at home (free of charge, of course). If you think your pet may need extra care, give us a call for a quick consultation.
Some pups need a little extra patience and support during their grooming appointment. Whether they're anxious, sensitive to certain parts of the grooming process, or simply need a slower approach, our experienced grooming professionals will work with care and patience to help make their visit as comfortable as possible. Additional handling fees may apply depending on your pet's individual needs.
Every pet deserves care tailored to their individual needs. Pets with pre-existing medical conditions, skin sensitivities, heart or respiratory concerns, vision or hearing loss, mobility limitations, or other special needs may require additional time, patience, and attention during their grooming appointment. Our team takes these needs into consideration and adapts the grooming experience whenever possible to prioritize your pet's comfort and well-being. Please let us know about any medical conditions or special considerations before your appointment.
A puppy's first grooming experiences can help shape how they feel about grooming for years to come. Our team uses patience, gentle introductions, and plenty of positive attention to help little ones become familiar with the sounds, tools, handling, and routine of a grooming appointment. We focus on making their first visits comfortable while helping them build confidence for future grooms.
Matting starts at the very base of the hair — your dog's coat can feel untangled on the surface while there's severe matting happening underneath. Daily or at least weekly brushing is the only real prevention, since matting is very painful to brush out once it's tight to the skin. We do everything possible to avoid shaving your pet, and we will always call you with an update if our grooming plan needs to change once we start.
We take fleas and ticks seriously — both spread easily to other pets, so we always recommend monthly prevention. If your pet arrives with an active issue, we offer an all-natural Flea and Tick shampoo (about 10 minutes in the tub), or Capstar, a more effective oral option that starts working in 30 minutes since fleas can't hide from it. We'll walk you through the flea and tick lifecycle and the best option for your pet.
